Piano Genie

This is a barebones demo of Piano Genie prepared by Chris Donahue for the ISMIR 2021 tutorial Designing Generative Models for Interactive Co-creation. It is the second part of a two-part tutorial on training a model in Python and porting it to Javascript for interaction (see this Colab Notebook for part one). All code for this tutorial is available via our GitHub repository.

This demo is aimed at developers and optimized for simplicity—please see the official demo by Monica Dinculescu for a user-friendly experience. For more about Piano Genie, please also see the original blog post, IUI 2019 paper, and codebase.
